Rustler men average 108 points over the weekend
The high flying Rustlers averaged 108 points a game over the weekend, defeating Laramie County Community College (114-93) and Rexburg Idaho (103-61).
Irshaad Hunte led the Rustlers against LCCC with 24 points and 8 rebounds, Henry Tanksley with 17 points, Marquis White and Romario Spence each with 16 points, as well as Broc Finstuen and Devon Colley each with 12. "I was very impressed with the team's effort and intensity as they out rebounded LCCC 45-22," said Steve Barlow, Dean of Students at CWC.
Every player on the roster averaged double figure playing minutes, as the team dominated every aspect of the game against Rexburg. Leading scorers for the Rustlers were Irshaad Hunte 17 points, Baris Ulker (14), Kylan Shultz (12), and Broc Finstuen with 11. The Rustlers dominated the boards once again as they out rebounded Rexburg 57-36. The Rustlers travel to Rangley, Colorado to take on Colorado Northwestern Community College on Tuesday, November 14th.
