The lady Rustlers opened their game Tuesday night against LCCC exchanging basket for basket with the Eagles for the first six minutes of the game. The Rustlers struggled all game with the physicality of the Eagles and lost 88-76.

The Rustlers were lead by Paulani Tarawa who had a season High 34 points on 15 of 24 from the field while pulling down six rebounds. Rylee Burmester added in 13 while Marissa Arnold added in 12 points and six rebounds.

Bailey Forney dished out a team high five assists and pulled down five rebounds from the point guard spot. Alyzae Roberts helped the Rustlers inside with eight points and nine rebounds.

"Defensively we have a lot of work to do," said head coach Ken Swartz. "We can't keep people in front of us and have no help side when we get beat. Offensively we are scoring and doing what we need to, but we really need to work on our defense."

The Rustlers continue their season and wrap up their preseason on the road with back to back games against Rocky Mountain JV Friday Dec. 8.
