The Lady Rustlers played three solid quarters, but when Sheridan turned up the intensity the Rustlers struggled falling to Sheridan 65-57.

Rylee Burmester lead the way for the Rustlers with 21 points on seven of 12 shooting. Paulani Tarawa added in 17 along four other Rustlers who made it into the score book. Arnold had six, Blaser and Crosman with three a piece, and Roberts with seven.

The Rustlers struggled to put the ball in the basket making only 17 of their 59 attempts for 28 percent from the field. The Rustlers shot 18 percent from beyond the arc and 70 percent from the charity stripe for the night.

"Another very disappointing loss," said head coach Ken Swartz. "This team is really struggling with an identity and this is the second game in a row that people outworked us and that is unacceptable."

The Rustlers continue Region play Wednesday at home against the Northwest Trappers at 5:30pm.
