Hawkins Named Women's Basketball Assistant Coach
Taylor Hawkins enters her first season as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Central Wyoming College in 2018-19. She will be involved in all areas of the program, including day-to-day operations, recruiting, opponent scouting, player development and building and organizing travel plans.
 
Hawkins makes her way to Riverton after a collegiate playing career at Wiley College, an NAIA school in Marshall, TX. She earned the "Champion of Character" Award her junior season, and was named a captain her senior year.  Hawkins averaged the most shot blocks in the conference her senior year.  Prior to Wiley College, Taylor played two years at Vincennes University in Vincennes, IN.
 
Taylor is a native of Sacramento, California where she was a 3-sport athlete and earned 1st Team All-City honors and a spot in her high school Athletic Hall of Fame.  Hawkins holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Child Development Education Degree with a minor in Physical Education.
