The Rustlers made the long trek to Colorado over the weekend, coming back with two losses.

 

On Friday, September 23rd, the Rustlers played Trinidad State on their home turf and loss 3-1.  The game was back and forth for the entire 90 minutes according to Coach Harrison.  He went on to say, "Our girls played with great effort and we had a chance to earn the win. We had a couple of goalie mistakes that led to two of their goals."

 

The Rustlers took on Otero Junior College the next day and would lose again 7-1.  Coach Harrison stated, "Otero dominated the match from start to finish.  Our girls always play with effort, but this evening we were overmatched and only had 11 girls for the game. We hopefully will be getting a couple of players back this week."

 

The Rustler will host Northwest College on Saturday, October 1st at 1pm.
