Women's Soccer Split Last Regular Season Away Games

In a fiercely contested regional college soccer encounter on October 3, 2025, the Central Wyoming College Rustlers triumphed over the Western Nebraska Cougars with a final score of 3-1 at Scottsbluff under sunny conditions. Despite a valiant effort, the Rustlers were unable to secure a victory, concluding the game with a score of 2-0 in favor of Laramie County Community College.

The match started aggressively with Laramie County Community College finding the net early. The golden eagles scored the first goal at the 5-minute mark, setting an intense pace for the game. The Rustlers tried to regroup and counterattack but faced a strong defense. At the 30-minute mark, LCCC extended their lead scoring a second goal, making it increasingly difficult for the Rustlers to bounce back.

The Rustlers currently have a 6-5 overall record, and hold the #4 seed spot for the NJCAA Region 9 playoffs. They look to secure their playoff position during their last regular season games on October 10 & 11 at home against Northeastern JC and Lamar CC, respectively.
