The Lady Rustlers had an exciting weekend at home, beating Northwest College on Friday night (19-25, 21-25, 25-7, 25-20, 15-9) and Sheridan College on Saturday afternoon (25-20, 25-12, 25-22).

Sophomore Calisha Simms was a powerhouse against NWC, having 22 kills on offense and adding 7 digs on defense.  Teammates Rylee Burmester and Grace Gregory added a total of 30 kills to the teams total of 64 kills.  Freshman, Aubri Whatcott, proved to be a leader for the Lady Rustlers, having 42 assists and 11 digs.

The Rustlers beat Sheridan College in three sets on Saturday.  Calisha Simms led the Rustlers to victory, again, having 15 kills and digging 6 balls.  Freshman, Carly Connor, added on 13 kills to the teams 45.  Whatcott had another outstanding game with 35 assists.

The Rustlers will travel to Western Wyoming on Thursday, and will come back on Friday to face Casper College at home.  This will be the Rustlers last match before heading to the Region IX tournament at Laramie County Community College.
