Rustler Volleyball goes 4-0 at the Wyo-Braska Tournament

Central athletes spent a lot of time in and near the Nebraska panhandle over the weekend.  Volleyball took part in the Wyo-Braska invite in Torrington, WY and Scottsbluff, NE.  The highlight to a 4-0 weekend was a five-set win over 5th ranked Western Nebraska on their home floor.   Coach Darshaya Gallard was pleased with the win stating, "our goal was to stay calm and focused with only the end result in mind.  This win was essential for our national ranking."  They also took down the two-time defending National Champions from Iowa Western.  Central had four players with double-digit kills with Marin Freeland having the most with 13 kills and 10 block assists. Winners of 7 of their last 8 matches, the Rustlers await new rankings.

The Rustler Volleyball Team will be on their home floor for the first time this season on Friday, September 23 at 6pm to take on the Golden Eagles of Laramie County.
