The Rustlers started conference play with two wins over the weekend!  Central hosted Laramie County CC and Eastern Wyoming over the weekend, beating both.

 

The Rustlers played a very intense preseason and finished with a ranking of 11th in the nation.  Coach Gallard was already setting her next goal, and that was to be first in the conference.  The Rustlers struggled during their opening match against LCCC, but finally closed it out and won 3-2.  Brinley Smith had 18 kills, Haruka Sugimoto had 27 digs and Lauryn Arnold had 7 blocks. 

 

Central hosted Eastern Wyoming on Saturday and beat them in 3 sets.  Coach Gallard said, "our girls finally found a flow and we won 3-0 (25-10, 25-17, 25-5). It was great to be home after 6 weekends on the road."

 

The Rustlers will host Northwest College on Wednesday, September 28th at 6pm.
