Congratulations to Jersee Clapier for being chosen as the Central Wyoming College Student-Athlete of the Week!

Jersee is a sophomore on the Rustler women's soccer team, where she plays Center Forward/Winger. Jersee is originally from Layton, Utah, and came to CWC to study Health Science. She'd like to apply her education to a future career in dental hygiene. Off the field, she's active in the Multicultural Club and contributes to community service at the local homestead and dog shelter. Her favorite thing about Wyoming is the wildlife, landscapes and memories she has made with her best friends.

CWC Women's Soccer Head Coach Ben Nelson had this to say about his nomination of Clapier: "Jersee has really stepped into a leadership role within this team in her second year. She has also worked hard to improve her game, and just recently scored a goal in each game this past week, both of which were crucial conference games we needed to win."
