Congratulations to Rian McKenzie on being chosen as the Central Wyoming College Athlete of the Week!

Rian is a freshman that plays the setter position on the Rustler Volleyball team. She comes to Riverton all the way from Saratoga Springs, Utah, and chose to study early education at CWC with hopes of one day becoming a kindergarten teacher. 

In her free time, Rian loves skiing, baking and wake surfing. Rian's favorite part about Wyoming is the rodeos, and she is passionate about being kind and loving others. She is a student ambassador in the admissions department at Central Wyoming College, and also plays on the CWC Beach Volleyball team.

Head CWC Volleyball Coach Kim Davis nominated McKenzie because "She had a fantastic Beach opener this past week. Her partner was Laina Whitney and they both went 2-1 on the day. She constantly shows teamwork and sportsmanship, and does it all with a smile. She is fun to watch and has improved everyday."
