The 18th ranked Rustler Volleyball Team picked up two big conference road wins while the CWC Soccer Teams battled, and fell short, to ranked teams this weekend.
 
In volleyball, #18 Central outlasted Eastern Wyoming in five competitive sets.  Central won sets number two and three and found themselves down 7-1 in the fifth game but battled back to get the win, 15-13.  Kenzie Templeton tallied 17 kills with 13 from Brinley Smith.  Ava Rasmussen added 10.   Sophie Langer had 40 assists while libero Alondra Hernandez had 27 digs.   

Central took down Laramie County 3-0 on Saturday.   Templeton and Smith again led in kills with 11 and 10.  Langer had 25 assists and Hernandez 15 digs.   Central is 2-0 in North Region IX play and will be on the road again this weekend to face Northwest College in Powell, WY on Friday.  Central will finally be home after a five-week road swing on Wednesday, October 6th hosting Casper on Pink Night.   

The CWC Soccer Teams faced two nationally-ranked opponents.  The women's team played #2 Snow and fell 4-0.  The men's team played #16 Snow and lost 3-1.  The soccer teams will host Casper College on Wednesday at 1pm and 3pm at the CWC Soccer Fields. 

CWC Women's Golf is on the road Monday and Tuesday in Billings, MT at the Bear Tooth Invitational at Rocky Mountain College.
