Golfers Compete at First Spring Tournament

CWC Golf competes in the 1st event of the spring season in Lamar, CO, tough to believe with the snow we have in Riverton that golf season has started. It is such a long drive for the first event. Not only was this the team's first event this spring season, but it was the first event as a college coach for Head Coach Mike Neuman. Coach Neuman stated, "it was exciting to be on the course with them, helping wherever I could."

Some individual standouts were Hunter Hall with a remarkable 70 and 67 to start out the season with a solo 2nd place.  Teammates Beau Bronson placed 17th, Caige Toone T26, and Logan Foote 35th.

The women's team had an outstanding showing, with Cambree Crowther placing 3rd and Taylor Butler 5th.

"All of these results come without a single day of practice.  I am excited for what is to come with this group as I learn how to help them get better.  We are looking forward to getting on the green grass and practicing," commented Neuman.

The Rustlers will head to La Junta, CO this weekend to compete at Otero Junior College.
