CWC Men's Golf Team Wins First Tournament

The CWC Golf Team hosted its Fall Tournament over the weekend, which ended up being quite special for the team, the school, and Head Coach Mike Neuman.

The CWC Men's Golf Team won their first-ever college event, the first in school history, it being Coach Neuman's first college win.  Sophomore Hunter Hall led the way for the Rusters winning his second, back-to-back individual title.  This puts Hunter atop the Region 9 standings and he will remain the guy to beat.  The men's team scored under 300 in four rounds, which was the only team in Region 9 to do so.

"All the boys had a good week, making some hard practice work pay off," expressed Coach Neuman.  "I couldn't be more proud. Our girls' team led by Taylor Butler continued to improve and compete.  By the end of the season, they will be a force."

The Rustlers will head to Torrington, WY to compete at Eastern Wyoming College this Thursday (9/14) and Friday (9/15).
