Toone brings home first tournament win
The CWC Rustlers made the long trip to La Junta, CO on Thursday (9/28) and Friday (9/29).  It was a long road trip, but a couple of the players made the best of it.

Taylor Butler shot a season-best of 81 in the first round, getting her a top-5 finish in a strong women's field.  "Hard work is paying off and we expect to see good things from Butler going forward," stated Coach Neuman.  Teammate Skyler Anderson shot a season-best score as well.

While the boys' team did not play their best, they are currently in 2nd place in Region 9 with a bunch of upside.  A huge congratulations goes out to Caige Toone as he brings home his first college win.  Caige shot a career low of 66 on the first day, and held off a hard charge, making a huge putt on the last hole.  Coach Neuman expressed his excitement for Toone saying, "I'm super proud of Caige!"   Hunter Hall battled this week but continues to hold on to the #1 spot in Region 9.  CWC now has had two different players win events, the first time in CWC history to have that happen.
