Rustlers Fall to Western Wyoming CC; 98-84

On Saturday, February 27th, the Rustlers faced Western Wyoming Community College where they ended the first half falling 36-43. In the second half, CWC kept a close game with Western but unfortunately finished the game with a 98-84 loss. Head Coach Brad Schmit offered this statement after the game, "I'm incredibly proud of our team. Each game we keep getting better. That is all I'm asking for as we navigate this strange season. Levias and Searles are turning into two of the better players in the region. Gentry and Dahir are doing so many things to impact the team. Our bench is energetic. Our one problem has been consistently scoring the ball. It's an area we are working on and hopefully will see improvements on Wednesday against Eastern Wyoming."

Jaylen Searles led the team in points with a total of 26 points scored, followed by A'Jahni Levias who scored 19 points. Defensively Abdi Dahir crashed the boards, contributing seven rebounds.

Up Next:  The Rustlers will be heading to Eastern Wyoming College tomorrow, March 3rd. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM MST.  Catch the action here.
