The men's and women's Rustler golf teams took a roadtrip to Torrington, Wyoming on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 12 & 13 to compete in a Region IX tournament hosted by Eastern Wyoming College. McCook CC, Otero College, Northeastern JC, Lamar CC alongside CWC and Eastern Wyoming all had men's golf teams competing.  

The CWC men's team had top performances from Tyler Ewell (11th) and Brodie Dale (T12th). Ewell shot seven over par by the end of the 2nd day of the tournament, and Dale finished close behind with nine over par. Supplemental contributions from Brody Hamby (19th), Houston Dunn (T20th), and Brock Owings (T22nd) shot the men's final overall standing up to second place.
