"It's always good to get going in the spring after a long winter of practice" said Coach Schrock. "I am pleased with how the entire team looked at this first rodeo and really have to attribute it to the quality practice that we have had this winter in our new Rustler Ag & Equine Complex. Unfortunately, we were plagued by the barrier in the Steer Wrestling, but the overall performance from our athlets and horses looked really good. I am happy for Kendell Williams and Sam Damele, they both made two solid runs."
