CWC Rodeo Excels at University of Wyoming Rodeo, Send Three Members to CNFR

The Central Wyoming College Rustlers had a strong showing at the Laramie River Rendezvous Rodeo, hosted by the University of Wyoming from April 25-27. The rodeo was the final regional competition of the season.
According to Head Coach Andrew Schrock, "To say I am proud of this team and their accomplishments is an understatement. They showed a lot of determination and poise throughout the season, making the best of the opportunity that was presented to them."
Several CWC team members achieved notable results:

Eian Smith placed 3rd in the average in Bareback Riding.

Caden Gines and Jace Mayfield placed 3rd in the average in Team Roping.
Three CWC Rustlers have qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in June:

Jace Mayfield was crowned the Central Rocky Mountain Region Men's Champion All-Around Cowboy. He also placed 3rd in the region in Steer Wrestling and 3rd in the region in Team Roping.

Caden Gines placed 3rd in the region in Team Roping.

Brahmer Gaehring placed 3rd in the region in Bull Riding.
"Congratulations to Jace, Caden, and Brahmer," said Coach Schrock. "We have a solid group that will be representing CWC at the CNFR in June."
