CWC soccer started its regular season over the weekend with a long road trip deep into Nebraska.  They went 740 miles to Southeast College in Beatrice on Friday.     The women's team dominated the home team 5-0 to kick off the season.   The men dropped a hard-fought game in overtime, 2-1.

After another 120-mile trip north to Columbus, the Rustlers would see mixed results.   The women's team went double overtime with the Lady Raiders and ended in a 0-0 tie.    The men's team was beaten 4-0. 

The CWC women are 1-0-1 to begin the 2022 campaign while the men's team is 0-2.

Central soccer is back on the pitch Wednesday when they travel to Colorado Northwestern and then make a Saturday road trip back to Utah to take on the Bruins of Salt Lake Community College.   Central soccer will be on the home field Thursday, September first when they host Casper College.
