Rustlers beat Northwest on the road; Lose to Casper

The men's soccer team traveled to Powell and Casper over the weekend and would come back with one win and one loss.

The Rustlers played the Trappers of Northwest College on Friday in Powell, WY.  They beat the trappers 3-0.  Ty Miller, Josh Clarke and Haris Hussaini each scored a goal for the Rustlers.  Nathan Dayley had two assists and Haris Hussaini had one.

It was a good win and Coach Harrison was happy with how the Rustlers played stating, "We played well for a lot of the game. Our goal was to keep a clean sheet and score 2-3 goals so we accomplished those."

The Rustlers traveled to Casper, WY the next day to take on the Thunderbirds of Casper College.  Casper ended up beating the Rustlers 5-0.

"We played a good 1st half and the 2nd half wasn't good enough. We were sitting a few guys heading into the playoffs and that showed in the 2nd half," said Coach Harrison.

The Rustlers will travel to Otero next Saturday for the 1st round of playoffs. Game time TBA.
