Riverton, WY— In a pivotal playoff game, the Central Wyoming College men's soccer team hosted Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles on October 18, in Riverton, WY. The Rustlers edged out a 1-0 victory in what was a tightly contested match, securing their first ever Region 9 playoff win in the history of the CWC men's soccer program.

The sole goal came early in the match at the 23-minute mark, with Izaak Smith finding the net, thanks to a skillful assist by Maddox Nadge. This decisive goal placed the Rustlers in a leading position by halftime, maintaining the 1-0 score.
