Bengal Invitational Results
This weekend for Central Wyoming College distance track was one for the record books. The Bengal Invitational in Pocatello, Idaho has become a staple for CWC runners. Luke Crossley qualified for the NJCAA D1 National Championships in the 1500m clocking a 3:57.55 which is 43rd in the nation. “It was a very successful day on the track. I am very proud of this team. They took on the challenge of the D1 competition and made the most of it. That’s really all you can ask being a coach,” Coach Faure stated.
Luke commented on his races saying, “There’s something in the air when we go to Pocatello that produces PR’s, and this weekend was no different. Even on a warm day, I was able to put up a lifetime best in the 1500m and the 800m, I’m happy with the results and couldn’t have done it without quality coaching and support from my people!”
