The Lady Rustlers, before going into this weekend, were 1-4. They started the WWCC Invite against Region 18 USU-E and battled back and forth for the first half down 23-24.  A hot run from USU-E and lack of offense and foul trouble from the Lady Rustlers ended the game 64-47. 

The second day of the WWCC Invite was a complete turnaround and bounce back from the night before. They took on Region 18 College of Southern Nevada. The Lady Rustlers were down only one time when the score was 10-8 and from there had the lead for the entire game. Everything from defense to offense was clicking finally for the Lady Rustlers. They won the game 69-45. The Lady Rustlers had four in double digits. Livia Knapp doing what she always does in leading the Rustlers with 19 points and 7 assists. Alexxis Motisi with 18 points, 8 rebounds; Malyah Bolden 14 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals and Alex Terrazas with 11 points and 4 steals. 

"This weekend I tested them to see what kind of team we wanted to be. They responded in the 4^th quarter against USU-E and then took it to the level we want to play at against CSN. Proud of their execution and the baby steps we are taking in the right direction. The wins are always a huge credit to my players!" stated Coach Lindsey Fearing
