Natalia Ballin (Sophomore, Provo, UT) was named the Region IX women's basketball player of the week. 

Ballin helped lead her team to two home victories in non-conference games against Region IX-South opponents (Otero College & McCook CC) on Friday and Saturday of this last week. She averaged 21 points on 51.7% shooting across both games and also contributed immensely in facilitiating the offense, with 6.5 assists per game, and was all over the court on defense too, picking off an average of 2 steals. 

Ballin has not let the cold winter weather cool off the hot streak she has going in the gym, as she's averaged 22.6 PPG, 3.8 APG, and 6 RPG in the month of December.
