On Tuesday, November 11, the Rustlers triumphed in a pivotal basketball encounter against Colorado Northwestern Community College at home in Rustler Gymnasium. The team secured a 61-51 victory, improving their season record to 3-1.

• Key Game Moments: The first half was a tight contest, with CWC leading 12-9 after the first period and 29-20 at halftime. Momentum shifted significantly in the third period, with impactful plays from Laura Ring and Bella Sika stretching the lead to 56-31 by the period's end.

  • Bella Sika was the game's top scorer with 15 points. 

  • Lexie Kesler contributed 14 points and led the team with 3 assists.

Road Trip Challenges Against Snow College and Utah State Eastern

The Rustlers then hit the road for two challenging contests in Price, UT, on November 14 and 15.

Snow College Defeats CWC

Snow College 69, Central Wyoming College 54

In a challenging encounter on November 14, the Rustlers were defeated by Snow College with a final score of 69-54. Snow College established an early lead, finishing the first period ahead 14-10 and widening the gap to 33-21 by halftime.

Close Battle Against Utah State Eastern

Utah State Eastern 60, Central Wyoming College 55
