Bio
Keith Wyatt joined the Central Wyoming College Athletic Department in July 2024 as the head coach of the women's basketball. He was previously the assistant coach of the women's basketball team at Laramie County Community College.
Wyatt's hometown is Salida, Colorado, and he graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management and Marketing. After graduation, he began his "5/12 Ventures" company as a training and media platform for athletes who aspired to reach the next level.
He originally began his coaching career in 2013, where he was on the staff of Prairie View High School basketball team from 2013 to 2017.
Wyatt returned to his home town of Salida in 2018 and started the Chaffee County Basketball Academy. He then became the head coach of the Salida High School girls basketball team in 2021, and led the team to the postseason in the 2022-23 season.
Coach Wyatt believes in putting student athletes first, and developing them on and off the court with trust, accountability, discipline and kindness. He strives to create an environment where student athletes have a voice and take responsibility and ownership of the program within the structure of the culture.
