CWC hosted College of Southern Idaho, both nationally ranked teams (women #2, men #5), on Saturday morning at Sinks Canyon Center.  

Jayden Yates was the top runner for the CWC men's team, running a time of 29:53 and placing him 10th.  First place runner on the men's side, Slyad Matan of CSI, ran the course in 27:55 and is one of the favorites to win Nationals in November.

Trysta Stingley was the top CWC finisher on the women's side.  Stingley ran a time of 21:50, a little over a minute behind CSI's top runner, Erica Kent, whose time was 20:47.

CSI's coaching staff was impressed with the course at Sinks Canyon, and look forward to coming back to run the course again.

Next Up:  CWC will head to Regionals at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska on October 26th.
