CWC Cross County kicked off its season under first-year Head Coach Rick Faure on Saturday, September 2.   Racing against a field of Division 1 runners in Cheyenne, Wyoming, at the University of Wyoming Invite, the Rustlers ran hard in their first meet of the season.   Luke Crossley (Roy, Utah) and teammate Mitchell Johnson (Roy, Utah) was sixteen seconds apart finishing 37^th and 38^th.      On the women’s side, Jessica White (Lander, Wyoming) was 36^th to lead Central.  They were competing with Wyoming, Colorado, Colorado State and Northern Colorado, all Division 1 schools.    Coach Faure liked what he saw to begin the season, “ Both teams competed really well for being in the mix with D1 schools. I’m super proud of each team and look forward to our next meet. Luke and Jessica led the way taking down a handful of D1 runners!”
